Work started this month on the S278 works creating an access to Sutton & East Surrey Water Company’s new soakaway lagoon at Woodmansterne.
The £1.2m project forms part of the enabling works to the £20m refurbishment of the adjacent Water Treatment Works, where Thorne is also the preferred civils contractor.
