Plant and Transport

C J Thorne & Co operate a wholly-owned plant and transport fleet which is maintained by their fully equipped, in-house workshops. Machines range from 0.8 to 20 tonne excavators and 2 to 10 tonne dumpers, and are available to hire with or without an operator.

Proactive servicing and repairs are carried out on all plant and machinery, both on site and in the workshops. This ensures the fleet is run at optimum efficiently and minimises the likelihood of disruption through breakdowns.

To complement the range of services on offer metal fabrication and welding can be undertaken along with diamond drilling.
