Earthworks and Landscaping

The Company has been undertaking earthworks / landscaping projects since its establishment in 1939 with such projects as playing fields for the local councils, culminating in the construction of a number of golf courses across the south east in the 1990s, including East Sussex National, Chartham Park and The London Club. From then on it has developed its expertise in land drainage, car park construction and soft and hard landscaping to name but a few.

C J Thorne & Co has a substantial fleet of wholly owned construction plant, as well as the necessary skills and expertise in its directly employed workforce, to be able to provide cost-effective solutions to the needs of its diverse Client base.
